(28/5/2013) Bancroft, a London-based private equity fund acquired a shareholding in Tatilsepeti.com, Turkey’s leading tourism portal.

Established in 2002, Tatilsepeti.com is among the largest tourism portals in Turkey with its 18 million visitors per year. The company works with about 15 different tour operators. Through the world’s largest online tour operator, Expedia, the company provides its customers with the access to thousands of hotels both in Turkey and throughout the world.
London-based investment fund, Bancroft Private Equity was established in 1996 and focuses mainly on Central and Eastern Europe. Tatilsepeti.com is the firm’s fifth investment in Turkey following its investments in Standard Profil, Kayalar Kimya, Eko Finans Faktoring ve Graniser. The strategic partnership with Bancroft will enable Tatilsepeti to achieve its goal to become one of the leading international tourism portals in the world.
