(8/12/2010) Turkey-based Rhea Venture Capital has acquired Dentistanbul, the leading dental hospital in Turkey.
 
Ventura Partners acted as exclusive financial advisor to Dentistanbul on the transaction.

Rhea Venture Capital Investment Trust has acquired 100% of Dentistanbul, the leading Turkish dental care provider from Global Environment Fund (GEF). Ventura Partners acted as exclusive financial advisor to Global Environment Fund on the transaction.

Dentistanbul is the sole private dental care provider operating with a private dental hospital license in Turkey. Dentistanbul has a dental hospital and two affiliated dental polyclinics in Istanbul. Dentistanbul also operates the dental clinic of the Medical Park hospital in Göztepe.

Rhea Venture Capital Investment Trust, founded in 1996, is the first venture capital investment trust of Turkey. Rhea acquired 53% of Nortel Netaş, together with One Equity Partners of the U.S. Its 2010 investments include companies such as Seta Medical, Netsafe Information Systems, Envitec and Marmara Ferryboats.
